SAVED AND SOBER
The title of this book, Saved and Sober, by itself, is somewhat self-explanatory, Man, if left to his own devices, stands no chance of defeating satan in the war against addictions! They've been trying for decades, if not centuries, to no avail! When man surrenders his life and will to Jesus Christ, he becomes a brand new person, (John 3:3 and 2 Corinthians 5:17), hence, Saved and Sober, set free from the bondage of sin,( John 8:31-36), and conquerors over satan! (Romans 8:37)
In this book, I focus on revealing the heresy found throughout the secular 12-step addiction recovery programs that steer its members towards any undefined "god of their own understanding", rather than The One True Living God of The Bible, Jesus Christ! There are millions of Christians attending secular 12-step addiction recovery programs today that completely ignore The Gospel of Jesus Christ! They deny the use of God's Holy Bible or any discussion of Jesus Christ! My mission and the purpose of this book is to warn Christians of the dangers of participating in such groups. Romans 16:16-18, 1 Corinthians 5:10-12.
